Oil and gas supply in Nigeria

Good products. On time. Every time.

Tell us the product, the quantity and the place. We handle the rest. That covers sourcing, quality checks, documents, loading and delivery.

Every order is matched to a clear specification. You know the grade, the volume and the delivery terms before any money moves, every time.

Crude oil and petroleum product storage tank farm by the coast
  • Crude Oil

Steady supply for buyers who need reliable volumes. Clear terms and clear paperwork come with every order. We quote on the assay, so you can see the API gravity, sulphur content and pour point of the stream you are buying. Sweet, light Nigerian grades are priced against Dated Brent with an agreed differential. Terms can be set FOB or CIF, with independent inspection of quantity and quality at loading.

  • Petroleum Products

Pure petroleum products for businesses and distributors. You agree the delivery date, and we work to it. We handle PMS (petrol), AGO (diesel), DPK (kerosene), ATK (jet fuel) and LPFO (low pour fuel oil). Each load is checked for density, flash point and sulphur before it leaves the depot, so what arrives matches what you ordered.

  • Natural Gas

We market gas to factories, power users and homes. Gas is a great resource for Nigeria, and it should reach the people who need it. We work with pipeline gas, compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Volumes are priced in MMBtu or MMscfd under clear sales agreements, with options for take or pay. We also look at flare gas, where a wasted stream can become a paying product.

  • Bitumen

Good roads start with good bitumen. We supply road builders and contractors in time for their paving work. Grades include penetration 60/70 and 80/100, along with cutback and emulsion products for prime and tack coats. Bulk or drummed supply is timed to your asphalt plant, so your paving crew never stands idle.

  • Petrochemicals & Industrial Chemicals

The chemicals that keep plants and factories working. We help you choose the right grade and handle it safely. Our range covers solvents, methanol, glycols such as MEG and TEG, and base oils. For the oilfield, we supply demulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, biocides, and drilling fluid materials such as barite and bentonite. Safety data sheets come with every delivery.

  • Fertiliser & Farm Oil Products

All kinds of fertiliser and agricultural oil products, for farmers, cooperatives and distributors. Natural gas is the feedstock for urea, so fertiliser is a natural part of our energy chain. We supply urea and NPK blends, and we help match the nutrient ratio to your soil and crop. Bagged or bulk supply can be timed to the planting season.

Upstream, midstream and downstream

Find it. Move it. Deliver it.

Oil and gas pass through three stages before they reach a customer. The industry calls them upstream, midstream and downstream. We can join you at any one stage, or stay with you through all three.

Oil rigs, a plant and pipelines on a coastline at sunset

Upstream

Find it

We take part in exploration and the early planning around it. This stage starts with seismic data and basin studies, which show where hydrocarbons may be trapped. Prospects are ranked by volume and geological chance of success. Wells are then planned and drilled to prove the find, and a field development plan turns it into production.

Silver pipelines crossing green land

Midstream

Move it

We build gas plants and support the pipes and tanks that carry the product. Raw well fluid goes through separation, then gas goes through dehydration and treatment to meet pipeline specification. Flowlines, trunk lines, compressors and storage tanks take it to the market. Pipeline integrity work, such as pigging and cathodic protection, keeps it all safe.

Gas storage tanks and pipework beside a jetty

Downstream

Deliver it

We market the product and arrange transport to your site. This is where crude becomes refined fuel, and gas becomes power, LPG or fertiliser. Depots, trucks and rail wagons carry it to the end user. Custody transfer, metering and clear documents make sure every litre and every cubic metre is counted.

Our approach

Two skills. One team. Zero guesswork.

Here is a simple truth about oil and gas: a field only succeeds when the engineering and the money both work. Plenty of firms are great at one or the other. We put both on the same table from day one, and we keep them there.

So a reservoir model always has a cash flow model beside it. A valuation is never signed off until an engineer has checked the barrels behind it. And no one asks you to spend big money on a hunch. We show our working, in plain language, and we cut the risk before the real cheques are written.

Technical

From the subsurface to surface facilities

From the very first seismic line to the day of first oil, our technical team walks with your asset through every stage of physical risk and readiness. Think of us as your guide from deep underground all the way to the export point. We ask the hard questions early, because a problem found on a screen costs far less than a problem found on a rig. Every study links neatly to the next one, and each one answers a clear question, so that the geology, wells and facilities all tell the same story, and your team always knows exactly what the next step is, and why.

  • Seismic work. Seismic is an ultrasound of the earth. We plan acquisition, then process and interpret 2D and 3D data to map traps, faults and closures. We use well ties to match seismic to real rock, and attribute work such as amplitude and AVO analysis to spot likely hydrocarbons. Good imaging can tell you where to drill, and just as importantly, where not to.
  • Basin evaluation. Every basin tells a story. We study the petroleum system: source rock, maturity, migration, reservoir, seal and timing. In the Niger Delta, that means the Akata shale as the main source, the Agbada sands as the reservoir, and growth faults and rollover anticlines as the traps. This shows us which plays deserve your money next.
  • Reservoir characterisation. Here we work out what is really down there. Well logs, core data and PVT analysis give us porosity, permeability, water saturation and net pay. From these we estimate STOIIP (stock tank oil initially in place) and GIIP for gas. Then a 3D static model shows how the sands connect, and how the fluids are likely to flow.
  • Drilling programmes. A good well starts on paper. We design the well path, casing seats, mud weights and cement plan around the pore pressure and fracture gradient. We also set well control rules, BOP requirements and kick tolerance. The result is a programme your rig crew can follow with confidence, and your finance team can budget with confidence.
  • Well integrity. A well is a long term asset, so we look after it for life. We check every barrier in the well, monitor annulus pressures, test safety valves and track corrosion in tubing and casing. When a well needs help, we plan workovers before a small leak turns into a large problem.
  • Exploration risk. We put honest numbers on uncertainty. Geological chance of success (GCoS) tells you the odds of finding hydrocarbons. P90, P50 and P10 volumes show the low, best and high cases. Put them together with cost and price, and you get an expected monetary value (EMV), so you can compare prospects fairly before committing capital.
  • Operational readiness. Being ready is a skill. Before any operation starts, we make sure that the people, procedures, spares, permits and emergency plans are all in place. We run readiness reviews from exploration through development, so that the first day on site feels like the hundredth.

Financial

Capital, compliance and governance

Right beside the technical work, our financial team helps to structure and fund every decision, then tests it to an institutional standard. Great rocks do not pay for themselves. This team turns good geology into a bankable project, keeps the regulators happy, and makes sure that your investors sleep well at night. Every number traces back to a source that someone can check. We keep it friendly, but we never bend the numbers. If a figure cannot be defended in front of a lender, an auditor or a regulator, it does not go into the report. Simple as that, and your investors will thank you for it.

  • Project finance. We help you find the right money for the right stage. Options include equity, senior debt, reserve based lending (RBL), offtake backed loans and vendor finance. We build the investor story, run the data room and answer the tough questions, while matching drawdowns and repayments to your production profile.
  • Commercial structuring. A good deal is one that everybody can live with for years. We shape upstream contracts, farm in and farm out deals, joint operating agreements (JOAs) and financial and technical services agreements (FTSAs). We make carried interests, cost recovery, profit sharing and cash calls clear, so nobody gets a surprise later.
  • Modelling and valuation. We turn barrels into dollars. Our fiscal models run a full discounted cash flow, showing NPV, IRR, payback, maximum exposure and the breakeven oil price. Then we stress test them on price, capex, opex and production delays, so that you can see what still works when things go wrong.
  • Regulatory reporting. Rules do not have to be scary. We build your compliance strategy under the Petroleum Industry Act 2021, covering PPLs, PMLs, NUPRC submissions, work programmes and budgets. We keep a calendar of what is due and when, so that nothing slips and your licence stays in good standing.
  • Risk management. Every project has risks. The trick is to know them early. We set up enterprise risk registers, assign owners and track mitigation across technical, commercial, security, price and regulatory risks. Add strong financial controls and clean approvals, and your project becomes much easier to run and easier to fund.
  • Due diligence. Before you sign, we look under the bonnet. We check title, licence status, reserves, liabilities, decommissioning costs, unpaid obligations and old contracts. Our findings are ranked by what they could cost you, which gives you a clear basis for price, conditions and warranties. It is built to stand up to investors and regulators alike.
  • Reserves discipline. Honest numbers build trust. We report on the SPE PRMS system, with a clean split of 1P, 2P and 3P reserves, contingent resources and prospective resources. Where lenders or buyers need it, we prepare your file for an independent competent person's report (CPR).

Oilfield services

In the field, on the build, on the move.

Use one service or combine them. You keep a single point of contact either way. That means fewer contractors to manage, fewer gaps between them, and one team that answers for the result. Each group below can stand alone, or link with the others under a single contract and one project plan.

In the Field

Exploration support

Early field work, specialists and site planning. We coordinate seismic crews, geoscience reviews and well site supervision, and keep the work in step with your licence terms and your minimum work programme. Data is handled so that it can feed straight into your reserves report.

Natural gas plants

We erect plants sized for your gas and your market. A typical scheme covers inlet separation, TEG dehydration, dew point control and compression, with metering at the export point. Larger schemes can add amine sweetening and NGL recovery.

Site maintenance

Planned care, so small faults do not stop production. We follow a planned maintenance schedule and use risk based inspection (RBI) to send people where the risk is highest. That cuts downtime and lifting cost.

On the Build

Pipelines and facilities

Civil works, foundations, tank bases and buildings for energy sites. We handle right of way clearing, trenching, stringing, welding, NDT checks, backfill and hydrotesting. Every weld and test is recorded in a full quality dossier.

Roads and bridges

Access roads, highways and the links a project depends on. Remote fields need firm access for rigs, heavy loads and crews, in all seasons. We plan drainage and pavement to suit, so wet season rain does not stop your project.

General contracts

Whole jobs, managed by us from start to finish. One integrated schedule tracks cost, time and quality, with clear milestones and regular reports against your budget. You get one contract, and one party to call.

On the Move

Procurement

We find equipment and materials that match your specification. We buy to API, ASME and ISO standards, and check mill certificates and test reports before goods ship. Long lead items are expedited, so they reach site when the schedule needs them.

Haulage

Goods, equipment and products moved by road and rail. We plan routes and load limits, and we follow journey management rules on every trip, including for heavy and oversized cargo. Hazardous loads travel with trained drivers and the right placards.

Agency

We represent manufacturers who want to reach the Nigerian market. We act as commission agents and local partners, and we help with vendor registration and local content rules, including NOGIC JQS listing.

Core capabilities

Where smart engineering meets smart money.

Eight areas of skill, one friendly team. Our specialists work across the technical and financial divide, so your asset never gets passed around between departments. You ask one question and get one joined up answer.

Need one of these? Great. Need all eight? Even better. Each one can stand alone, and each gets stronger when it is paired with the others.

Investment Analysis & Valuation

Should you buy it, build it, or walk away? That is the question we love to answer. We look at a single field or a whole portfolio, and rank each asset by what it can really deliver.

Our work starts with a discounted cash flow, usually at a 10% rate (NPV10). We then cross check against recent deals, using benchmarks such as dollars per 2P barrel and dollars per flowing barrel. We also look at the value locked in undeveloped gas, and the cost of old liabilities such as decommissioning.

You get a range of values, along with the assumptions behind each one. Investors can follow the logic, regulators can test it, and you can walk into a negotiation knowing your walk away price.

What you get: a clear valuation report, a ranked list of assets, a sensitivity table, and a straight recommendation on whether to buy, hold or pass. We present it to your board in plain words, and we stay in the room to take the hard questions with you.

Project Finance & Capital Structuring

Great projects die every day for lack of the right funding. We help you raise and shape capital for marginal fields, farm ins, acquisitions and new developments.

The toolbox is wide: equity, senior debt, mezzanine, reserve based loans, vendor finance, offtake prepayments and production payments. We build the debt sizing, check cover ratios such as LLCR and DSCR, and match repayment to the production curve.

Because we speak both languages, engineering and finance, investors get straight answers. We prepare the teaser, information memorandum, model and data room, and we stay with you through term sheet, conditions precedent and first drawdown.

What you get: a bankable model, a funding plan with sources and uses, a shortlist of likely funders, and a data room ready to open. We also prepare your team for investor meetings, so you walk in calm, stay on message and walk out with a term sheet.

Geoscience & Subsurface Risk

Drilling is expensive. Knowing where to drill is priceless. Our geoscience work takes the guesswork out of what lies below, before a single dollar goes into a well.

We interpret seismic, tie it to well data and build the structural and stratigraphic picture. We review fault seal, trap geometry, reservoir quality and fluid contacts. In the Niger Delta, where stacked Agbada sands sit against growth faults, these details can make or break a prospect.

Volumes come as a range with a chance of success attached. That way your money follows evidence, not hope. If a prospect does not stack up, we will tell you, kindly but clearly.

What you get: mapped prospects and leads, volumetric tables, risk scores, and a drilling recommendation with a clear location and target depth. Maps and logs are handed over in a form that your own geoscientists and your partners can pick up and use.

Drilling & Well Engineering

We take wells from spud to first oil, and then look after them through their producing life. A well is usually the biggest single cost in a field, so getting it right pays for itself.

Our engineers review offset wells, pore pressure and fracture gradient, then set casing design, mud programmes and cementing. We plan directional paths, hole cleaning and torque and drag. We also pick completions that fit the rock, including gravel packs and frac packs for the loose sands that are so common in the Delta.

The goal is simple: a safe well that hits the target, at the lowest sensible cost per foot, with as little nonproductive time (NPT) as possible.

What you get: a complete drilling programme, a time and depth curve, a cost estimate ready for your AFE, and a list of the main hazards with a plan for each one. On the rig, our daily reporting shows you exactly where the well stands.

Commercial Structuring

Good partners start with good paper. We structure upstream contracts, farm ins and joint operating agreements that hold up in both commercial and regulatory review.

We work through the details that decide who really makes money: working interest, carried interest, cost oil and profit oil split, operatorship, sole risk, default terms and voting passmarks. We also cover gas sales agreements, crude handling and lifting agreements, and service contracts.

Everyone should know exactly where they stand before anything goes wrong. That is why we model each clause, so you can see what a term is worth in dollars before you sign it.

What you get: a term sheet in plain English, a table comparing each option, drafting input for your lawyers, and a value model for every key clause. We sit beside you in negotiations, so you always know which points matter and which ones you can happily give away.

Regulatory & Bid Support

A strong application can win an asset. A weak one can lose it, however good the plan. We prepare bid documents and compliance reports to the standard that reviewers expect.

That covers licence round entries, prequalification files, technical and commercial bids, NUPRC submissions and consent for assignment. It also covers field development plans, work programmes and environmental filings. We check every requirement against a list, so nothing gets missed.

Clean files save time, reduce back and forth queries, and show regulators that they are dealing with a serious operator. And yes, we track the deadlines for you.

What you get: a full compliance checklist, a submission calendar, professionally written documents and a clean, indexed file. We also prepare you for regulator questions and presentations, and we follow up after filing, so your application keeps moving and does not sit in a long queue.

Financial Modelling & Fiscal Design

Petroleum economics is where geology, contracts and tax meet. Our models turn all of them into numbers that you can actually use.

Each model carries production forecasts, capex phasing, opex, royalties by terrain, hydrocarbon tax, companies income tax, cost recovery and host community contributions. Then we run sensitivities on oil price, gas price, capex, delays and decline rate. Tornado charts show at a glance what really moves your value.

The result is an investment case that can be defended line by line, in front of a board, a bank or a regulator. Models are built clean and auditable, so your own team can use them after we leave.

What you get: a tested Excel model with clear inputs and outputs, a short user guide, sensitivity and scenario tables, and a summary for your board. We train your staff to run it, because a model is only useful when your own people understand it and trust it.

Enterprise Risk & Audit Readiness

Nobody enjoys an audit. But the companies that plan for one rarely fear it. We build governance into your project from the start, so that it is never bolted on in a panic.

That includes risk registers, delegation of authority, cost controls, joint venture audits, cash call tracking and proper record keeping. We help to align your books with joint venture accounting rules and with what regulators and lenders want to see.

When an auditor or investor asks a question, the answer and the evidence are ready to go. This saves money, protects your cost recovery, and builds trust with every partner around the table.

What you get: a live risk register, a controls checklist, a clean audit file and a simple dashboard for your leadership. If an audit exception or a cost recovery dispute comes up, we help you to answer it quickly and fairly, with the facts and paperwork in hand.

Field development in Nigeria

From the rock to the riser, we have you covered.

Finding oil is exciting. Turning it into a working field is where the real value is made. Field development joins everything below ground to everything above it, in one plan. Get that link right, and the barrels flow for decades.

Pipeline valve and pressure gauge

Subsurface development

Getting the most from the reservoir

The reservoir is the heart of any field. We start by working out what drives it: solution gas, a gas cap or an aquifer. Many Niger Delta reservoirs enjoy strong water drive, which helps to push oil towards the wells. That single fact shapes how many wells you need, and where they should go.

We build static and dynamic models, then history match them against real production so that they can be trusted. Simulation lets us test different plans on a computer before spending a dollar. How many producers? Do we need water or gas injection? When should gas lift or ESPs come in?

The aim is to raise your recovery factor, delay water breakthrough, control GOR and keep sand out of the wells. We also use nodal analysis to match each well to its flowline, and to find barrels hiding in plain sight.

  • Reservoir modelling and simulation
  • Well placement and infill drilling
  • Waterflood and gas injection plans
  • Artificial lift selection
  • Production forecasting and decline analysis

Surface development

Building what the reservoir needs

Surface facilities take the mix of oil, gas, water and sand that comes out of a well, and turn it into products that can be sold. Everything starts with the concept. Onshore, swamp and offshore fields each need a different answer.

A typical scheme runs from wellheads and manifolds through flowlines to a flow station or central processing facility. There, HP and LP separators split the stream. Oil is stabilised and dewatered until it meets export specification. Gas goes for compression, dehydration or sale, and produced water is treated before reinjection or safe disposal.

Small field? A modular early production facility (EPF) or a tie back to a nearby host can get you to first oil faster, and with far less capex. Offshore, the choice runs from wellhead jackets to subsea trees, umbilicals and flowlines. We compare the options on cost, schedule and flexibility, then carry the winner through FEED and into execution.

  • Concept selection and FEED
  • Flow stations and central facilities
  • Gas gathering and flare reduction
  • Flow assurance: wax, hydrates and scale
  • Tie backs, EPFs and modular plants

Offshore and FPSO development

A floating factory on the ocean.

An FPSO is a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessel. Picture a giant ship that produces oil, stores it in its hull, and hands it over to tankers at sea. No long export pipeline is needed. That is why FPSOs are the workhorse of deepwater. Nigeria's big deepwater fields, including Bonga, Agbami, Akpo and Egina, all produce through them.

Well fluids rise through risers from subsea wells to the topsides. There, modules separate the oil, gas and water. Oil goes to cargo tanks in the hull. Gas is used for fuel, reinjected or exported. Produced water is treated, and treated seawater is often pumped back down to hold up reservoir pressure. When the tanks fill, a shuttle tanker connects in tandem or through a CALM buoy to lift the cargo.

Choosing the right FPSO is a major decision, and we can help you to make it. We work through newbuild or tanker conversion, spread mooring or turret, and owning or leasing. We also look at nameplate capacity, water depth, SURF scope (subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines), class requirements, and Nigerian content. For smaller fields, we study FSOs and redeployed vessels, which can turn a marginal find into a real project.

  • FPSO concept and economics studies
  • Charter or own comparisons
  • FEED review and tender support
  • SURF and mooring interface reviews
  • Operations, integrity and turnaround planning
  • Local content and fabrication planning

Drilling engineering services

Thousands of feet down, one careful step at a time.

Drilling a well is like threading a needle from miles away, with the pressure of the earth pushing back. It is one of the hardest things in engineering, and one of the most rewarding. Here is how we do it.

Plan. Every well starts with offset data and a pore pressure and fracture gradient plot. These define the safe mud weight window, which is the space between a kick and lost circulation. That window sets the casing points, from conductor and surface casing to intermediate strings and the production liner.

Choose the right rig. Land rigs suit onshore work, swamp barges work the Delta creeks, jack ups stand in shallow water, and semi submersibles and drillships reach deepwater. We match the rig to the well, and the rate to the budget.

Drill it well. We set the bottom hole assembly, PDC bits, hydraulics and directional plan. MWD and LWD tools send data up from the bit in real time, so that we can steer into the best sand. We watch ROP, ECD, torque and drag, and we keep hole cleaning under control. High angle and extended reach wells get extra care.

Keep control. The mud is the first barrier and the BOP is the last line of defence. We plan kick tolerance, well control drills and barrier testing. Nothing matters more.

Finish strong. We design cement jobs for zonal isolation, then choose completions that suit the reservoir. Options include sand screens, gravel packs, frac packs and intelligent completions. Finally, drill stem tests prove what the well can deliver. When a well reaches the end of its life, we plan a safe plug and abandonment.

  • Well design and AFE estimates
  • Well control and BOP planning
  • Directional and ERD planning
  • Mud, cement and casing design
  • Completions and sand control
  • Reentry, sidetracks and workovers
  • Rig selection and supervision
  • Plug and abandonment plans

Oil and gas engineering services

Whatever your field needs, just ask.

From marginal field development to daily plant operations, we cover what an operator needs to bring an asset online, keep it running safely, and keep it compliant for the life of the field.

Marginal Field Development

Small fields can make big returns when they are developed the right way. We take marginal and stranded fields from technical and commercial appraisal to field development planning and first oil. Using early production facilities (EPFs), tie backs to nearby hosts and phased capex, we size each scheme to make a small asset pay.

Drilling & Well Services

We provide well engineering, drilling programme design and rig site support through the whole drilling and completion cycle. That includes rig selection, directional planning, MWD and LWD data, cementing, well testing, workovers and reentry of old wells. Each step is tied to a well control plan.

EPC & Project Management

Engineering, procurement and construction, run with strict project controls. We take a project from concept and FEED to detailed design, and on to delivery. Cost, schedule and quality are tracked on one integrated plan, using earned value reporting and stage gates up to final investment decision (FID).

Procurement & Supply

We source oilfield equipment through a checked vendor network. Tubulars, wellheads, valves, pumps, instruments and spares are all bought to specification. Our technical review means a purchase still makes sense when it reaches the site, and our expediting keeps long lead items on schedule.

Pipeline Construction & Maintenance

We build and care for pipelines, from route engineering to commissioning and inspection. Work follows ASME B31.4 and B31.8 design codes and API 5L line pipe. Services include horizontal directional drilling (HDD) at crossings, cathodic protection, intelligent pigging and repair of damaged sections.

Facility Operations & Maintenance

We support operations and preventive maintenance across flow stations, gas plants and terminals. Trained crews, spare parts planning and a computerised maintenance system keep uptime high and unplanned shutdowns rare. Turnarounds are planned well ahead, to protect your production.

Environmental & Spill Response

We provide environmental management, monitoring and spill response for onshore and offshore assets. This covers environmental impact assessments (EIAs), baseline studies, waste management, oil spill contingency plans and site remediation, all designed around real regulatory response times and the EGASPIN guidelines.

HSE Consulting & Training

Good safety lives in people's habits. We advise on health, safety and environmental systems, and train crews so that the culture goes with them to site. Topics include HAZOP and HAZID studies, job safety analysis, permit to work, and audits against ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

Engineering Design & Asset Integrity

We provide design services and integrity management across the field life, from concept design to end of life review. This covers process simulation, P&IDs, corrosion studies, fitness for service assessment and life extension for ageing assets.

Regulatory & Local Content Advisory

We keep your licence healthy. We track the specific duties of each licence and give compliance advice in line with Nigerian and international rules. That includes NCDMB requirements under the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act, Nigerian Content Plans and the 1% levy to the Nigerian Content Development Fund.

Oilfield Maintenance

We carry out scheduled and corrective maintenance across upstream and midstream assets. Jobs are sequenced with your production plan, so interruption stays low. Work covers rotating equipment, valves, wellheads, instruments and non destructive testing (NDT).

Engineering Services

We offer multidiscipline engineering support across the project life: civil, mechanical, process, electrical, instrument and structural. All of it is coordinated by one delivery team, so drawings, data sheets and construction packages agree with each other.

EPC & EPCIC Services

EPCIC stands for engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning. We deliver it for offshore and onshore facilities, from design basis to handover. That includes jackets, topsides, flowlines, mechanical completion, precommissioning and a clean handover file.

Consulting Services

We bring the same discipline from the field to the deal room. Our advice covers economics, valuation, compliance and transactions. Because engineers sit with the advisers, the numbers always rest on real operating facts. See the full list below.

Refinery towers at sunset
Great energy projects start with great decisions.

Upstream consulting services

Big decision ahead? Let's think it through together.

Bids, filings, deals and decisions often decide whether an asset ever gets built. Our consultants work alongside the technical team on every job, so a valuation or bid package is never separated from what is really happening below ground and on site.

Bid Packages & NUPRC Submissions

Complete, on time bid files for licence rounds and divestments, with technical and commercial sections, and all prequalification documents. We help you price the signature bonus, plan the work programme and present the strongest case.

Petroleum Economics

Cash flow models for each field, showing NPV10, IRR, payback, maximum exposure and the oil price the project needs to break even. You see the value of every decision before you make it, in numbers your board can use.

Asset Valuation

Independent values for producing and undeveloped assets, using discounted cash flow, comparable deals and dollar per barrel benchmarks. Useful for deals, loans, financial reporting and partner disputes.

Field Development Plans

FDPs that join reservoir, wells, facilities, cost and schedule into one plan, ready for approval by the regulator. We cover depletion strategy, drilling sequence, facilities concept, gas plan, economics and decommissioning.

Due Diligence

Full review of title, data, liabilities, decommissioning costs and contracts, with every red flag ranked by what it could cost you. We turn findings into price adjustments, conditions and warranties.

Regulatory Compliance

A clear map of your duties under the Petroleum Industry Act, with reporting calendars and licence and lease condition tracking. No missed deadlines, and no nasty letters.

Local Content Compliance

Nigerian Content Plans, capacity building plans and NCDMB reporting, to keep your approvals and certificates in good order. We also help to build real Nigerian capacity into your supply chain.

Fiscal Modelling

Testing of royalty, tax and cost oil terms across licences and contracts, so that you can see the true government take. It is a great way to compare old OMLs with new PIA terms.

Technical Audits

Independent checks on wells, facilities, reserves and costs, to show where a project stands and where it is losing value. Fresh eyes often spot what a busy team has missed.

Operational Improvement

Practical changes that lower lifting cost per barrel, cut downtime, reduce flaring and raise output from existing wells. Often the cheapest new barrel comes from a field that you already own.

Mergers & Acquisitions

Support from target screening to data room, bid, negotiation, sale and purchase agreement, ministerial consent and closing. We keep the deal moving and keep the surprises out.

How a consulting job works

One process covers every line above, whether the job starts with a bid deadline, a valuation request or a due diligence mandate.

  1. Engage and scope

We set the goals, asset scope and timeline, and confirm the regulatory setting the job sits in.

  2. Diagnose and assess

We gather technical and financial data, and review subsurface, commercial, contract and compliance issues side by side.

  3. Model and value

We build the economics, fiscal models and valuations on assumptions tested by our technical team.

  4. Structure and advise

We recommend the structure, funding and regulatory position, with each trade off made plain.

  5. Document and submit

We prepare bid packages, FDPs and NUPRC filings to an institutional standard.

  6. Deliver and support

We stay with you through execution, technical audit and post deal support as the asset moves forward.

HSE: safety first

Everyone goes home safe. Every single day.

Oil and gas work has real risks. So safety comes before speed, on every job. A well can kick, a line can fail, and a heavy lift can go wrong. We plan for all of them, and we build barriers so that one failure never becomes a disaster.

We check what could go wrong before work starts. Every job begins with a job safety analysis and a toolbox talk. High risk tasks need a permit to work, and lockout tagout protects people from stored energy. Anyone on site can stop the job if something looks unsafe, with no blame attached.

We also look after the land, the water and the people around our work. We monitor discharges, manage waste, plan for spills, and cut routine flaring wherever we can. We talk with host communities early, and we keep our promises to them. Wherever we can, we hire, train and buy in Nigeria.

We plan every job around the rules set by NUPRC, NMDPRA and NCDMB. NUPRC regulates upstream work, NMDPRA covers midstream and downstream, and NCDMB oversees Nigerian content. We also take account of NOSDRA on spills and the Federal Ministry of Environment on impact assessments.

Good safety is measured, not assumed. We track leading indicators such as near miss reports and safety observations, not only lost time injuries. Every incident gets a root cause review, and the lesson goes back into the next job plan.

About us

Proudly Nigerian. Built for the long run.

We started in May 2018 as Estrellaluz Negocio Limited. In November 2026 we became Encanto Oil & Gas Ltd. The new name shows our focus: oil and gas come first.

Everything else we do supports that focus. Construction, supply and haulage all sit under one roof, so you deal with fewer firms. A field needs roads, a plant needs chemicals, and a depot needs trucks. We can bring these together under one contract.

Nigeria holds some of the largest oil and gas resources in Africa, and the Petroleum Industry Act has opened the door for strong local operators. We want to be part of that story, with Nigerian skills, Nigerian supply chains and world class standards.

Our mission is simple: help Nigerian energy reach the people who need it, safely, on time and at a fair price. We want operators, investors and buyers to see us as a partner who understands the barrel from the reservoir to the refinery gate.

Our registered business covers the exploration, supply and marketing of oil and gas, along with crude oil, bitumen, petrochemicals, industrial chemicals and natural gas plants. It also covers contracting, construction, real estate, manufacturing, agriculture and transport.

Our work rests on three things: technical skill, financial discipline and respect for the rules. We believe that a project done properly costs less over its life than one done in a hurry. That is why we take time to plan, document and test. Each step is recorded, so that the next engineer, auditor or investor can see exactly what was done and why it was done that way.

We keep our company simple to check. Our registration details sit on this page, so that any partner, bank or regulator can confirm who we are with the Corporate Affairs Commission before doing business with us.

  • Plain speakingClear proposals and open prices, with no hidden items in the small print.
  • No surprisesIf something changes, you hear it from us first, along with the fix.
  • Here for the long termWe stand behind our work after the job ends, because we want you back.

Why Encanto

Why people enjoy working with us.

Most firms are strong in the field or strong in the deal room. We are built to be credible in both.

One joined up team

Finance, engineering and geoscience work together on every job. They are not called in separately and stitched together at the end.

From the subsurface to the sale

We cover the whole chain, from a seismic line to a delivered product. That gives you one view of the whole barrel.

Local knowledge, global standards

We know Nigerian rules, contracts and field conditions, and we work to API, ASME, ISO and SPE standards.

Ready for capital

Our models, data rooms and reports are built for the questions that lenders and investors ask.

End to end readiness

The team that models an asset can also stand behind the plan to build it, from exploration through development.

Governance first

Audit ready thinking applies from the first day. It is built in from the start and never added under pressure.

Mining and natural resources

Same care, different ground.

Mining and oil share the same challenge. Both are complex assets that only get built with strong technical work and sound financial backing. So we apply the same joined up model to mineral and resource assets.

Geology, extraction costs and rules differ from petroleum. The Nigerian Minerals and Mining Act 2007 and the Mining Cadastre Office set the framework, and resources are reported to codes such as JORC. The core question stays the same: what does the ground really hold, and what must it deliver for the numbers to work?

Whether the asset is a working mine, an exploration licence or a resource backed financing, we can help with:

  • Geological and resource evaluation
  • Mine planning and feasibility support
  • Resource asset valuation
  • Environmental and regulatory compliance
  • ESG and sustainability advice
  • Natural resource project finance
  • Local content and community compliance
  • Technical and operational audits

Beyond oil and gas

And there is more we can do.

Oil and gas lead our business, yet the company was set up to do more. These sectors need the same things: good planning, reliable supply and work done properly. They also strengthen each other. Construction supports energy sites, and haulage carries what supply sells. Tell us what you need, and we will show you how we can help.

Construction

Roads, bridges, waterways, wharves, railways and factories. Our civil works cover earthworks, drainage, concrete structures and pavements, built to approved designs and tested at each stage.

Real Estate

We buy, develop, let and sell land and buildings. That covers site acquisition, title checks, development planning and property management for people and businesses.

Trading

We supply, market and distribute general goods across Nigeria. We also act as agents for manufacturers, and handle import documents and distribution.

Agriculture

Mechanised farming, farm produce and agro allied products. Together with our fertiliser supply, this links energy to food on the table.

Manufacturing

We make and package goods, alone or with partners. We welcome joint ventures that add value to Nigerian raw materials.

Transport

Road and rail transport for goods and passengers, with cartage and haulage services that link producers to their customers.

Questions and answers

Got questions? We love questions.

What is an FPSO?

A floating ship that produces, stores and offloads oil at sea, with no long export pipeline needed.

What is a marginal field?

A small or stranded field that can still pay well with phased capex, EPFs and smart tie backs.

What do 1P, 2P and 3P mean?

Reserve categories under SPE PRMS: proved, proved plus probable, and proved, probable and possible.

Contact

Let's talk. What do you need?

Send us a few details. The right person will reply to you. Tell us about the field, the product, the project, the filing or the deal. The more we know, the more useful our first reply will be.

For supply, please share the product, grade, quantity, delivery point and timing. For field work, share the asset, its location and the stage you have reached. For consulting, share the deadline and the decision you need to make.

Everything you send is treated in confidence. We are happy to sign a nondisclosure agreement before you share data. If you have a data room, a teaser or a tender document, tell us, and we will arrange a secure way to review it with you.
